More than 1,400 Formula 1 fans have shared their opinion on who should lead Ferrari after the 2026 season.
Nearly 1,500 people voted in the poll, ran by Express Sport, which asked who should be in charge of the Scuderia from 2027.
In recent weeks, there has been speculation about Vasseur’s position as Ferrari team principal due to the team’s inability to reclaim the F1 world championship.
Vasseur admitted that his future was “out of his hands,” echoing the words of his predecessor Mattia Binotto before his exit.
The poll revealed that fewer than half of the respondents believe that Ferrari should continue with Vasseur, who took over as team principal in 2023.
Out of 1,457 votes, only 47 percent, or 684 people, believed Vasseur should continue leading the team.
More than half of the voters preferred alternatives to Vasseur.
A significant 38 percent, or 559 respondents, advocated for replacing Vasseur with Christian Horner.

However, this figure does not represent a strong endorsement for the former Red Bull boss, as less than two-fifths of the participants thought Horner was the right person for the job in 2027.
The remaining voters, 15 percent or 214 people, favoured replacing Vasseur with someone other than Horner.
While few alternative candidates have been publicly named, Antonello Coletta, head of Ferrari’s World Endurance Championship and sportscar programmes, would be a strong option.
The speculation around Vasseur’s position comes as Christian Horner has made a public statement expressing his interest in returning to F1 with Ferrari.
Horner’s statement has added to the rumours surrounding Vasseur’s future.
Ferrari’s CEO, Benedetto Vigna, attended the Malaysian race at the weekend, where the team initially struggled with its tyre strategy.
Despite the early setback, Lewis Hamilton managed to recover from 18th position to finish on the podium, and Charles Leclerc finished fourth after being last at one point.
Vigna used the occasion to explain why the team decided to publicly support Vasseur in the lead-up to the Sepang race.
He said: “The reality is that Fred and the Scuderia are determined and focused on what needs to be done.
“Do we need to improve the car? Of course! Our rivals have done better. But the laws of physics are immutable, which means it can be done better.”
Vigna also clarified that rumours linking Horner to Vasseur’s role were never “verified”.
He added that the public show of support for Vasseur had the intended effect, as there were fewer questions about the topic in Sepang compared to the previous weekend in Baku.
