Bicester-based Greencore Homes took home two wins at the Cherwell Business Awards and a major prize at the Thames Valley Property Awards 2026, recognising its commitment to low-carbon development and sustainable construction.
At the Cherwell Business Awards on September 21, Greencore received the Innovation Award and was named Overall Winner, selected by the headline sponsor from all finalists.
Rodger Shipway, head of sales and marketing at Greencore Homes, said: “To receive three awards across two major regional events is a fantastic achievement for the whole Greencore team.
“These awards recognise both the innovation that sits at the heart of how we design, manufacture and deliver our homes, and the quality of the places that approach creates.”
The Innovation Award highlighted Greencore’s Biond Building System, a closed-panel timber frame system insulated with hemp, lime and natural wood fibre.
The company also won Residential Development of the Year at the Thames Valley Property Awards on September 24 for The Canopies, its 42-home scheme in Milton Heights.
The Canopies uses off-site timber construction, Passivhaus design principles, air source heat pumps and integrated solar panels to deliver highly energy-efficient homes.
Mr Shipway said: “We’re incredibly proud to see The Canopies recognised in its own right, alongside Greencore’s wider approach to sustainable housebuilding.
“As we continue to grow across Oxfordshire and the wider Thames Valley, we remain focused on demonstrating that high-quality, sustainable homes can be delivered commercially and at scale.”
