Bloomingdale’s, Ralph Lauren Partner for Holiday Windows and Pop-Up

For holiday, Bloomingdale’s will be all decked out in Ralph Lauren.

The retailer will launch Bloomingdale’s x Ralph Lauren, a partnership that will transform Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship with Ralph Lauren holiday windows and a facade installation celebrating traditions and togetherness. For the first time, Ralph Lauren will transform the store’s facade with a dramatic large-scale installation, complemented by a series of dedicated holiday windows.

The collaboration marks the introduction of The Ralph Lauren Holiday Shop, a pop-up shop on the first floor showcasing the brand’s craftsmanship. Opening Thursday and live through early January, the shop will feature Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Ralph Lauren Collection alongside an assortment of luxury gifts.

“Last year we had a record-breaking holiday season [Burberry takeover]. We really had to create a campaign and reimagine the 59th Street flagship to exceed last year. Who better to do that with than someone that we’ve had a great partnership with for close to 60 years? That’s Ralph Lauren,” said Kevin Harter, vice president of integrated marketing at Bloomingdale’s.

“This kind of hero partnership really worked for us last year, so Ralph Lauren was the perfect partner to go out to this year,” Harter said.

Harter explained that Ralph Lauren will have the windows and an immersive installation that will light up Bloomingdale’s facade on Lexington Avenue. There will also be the “beautiful pop-up” on the main floor located near the luxury accessories area.

Asked if Ralph Lauren contributes to the cost of this, Harter said, “It’s a true partnership.”

Harter didn’t want to give too much away about the windows, but said, “I can tell you, in typical Ralph Lauren fashion, they’re really creating this immersive experience that really reflects the holiday season, as well as both of our brands.”

On Nov. 20, singer-songwriter Sienna Spiro will perform live against the backdrop of the holiday windows, which will be unveiled that evening.

Overall, Bloomingdale’s theme for the season is “A Treasured Holiday,” celebrating traditions, thoughtful gifting and moments.
