Calvin Klein Inc. Taps Ayub Mohamed as Chief Product Officer

Calvin Klein Inc., part of PVH Corp., has appointed Ayub Mohamed as chief product officer, effective Jan. 25.

Mohamed will oversee Calvin Klein’s global product organization, including design and merchandising, with a focus on advancing and executing a global product strategy across categories and regions that strengthens brand equity and drives commercial performance. He will join the Calvin Klein Global Leadership Team and report directly to David Savman, global brand president, Calvin Klein.

Mohamed succeeds Eva Vidal Dans, who left the company in June 2025.

Last week, the company said Veronica Leoni would leave her role as creative director of Calvin Klein Collection at the end of her contract. She had been in the role since May 2024. Mohamed won’t design Collection. Klein said a search is underway for the new creative leader for Calvin Klein Collection, who will continue to report directly to Savman.

Mohamed brings more than two decades of global experience leading product strategy from concept through to market for luxury, fashion and lifestyle brands. Most recently, he was with Lacoste as executive vice president of product, overseeing the global product organization spanning design, merchandising and development and advancing a more consumer- and channel-centric approach to product strategy.

“Ayub is an accomplished global product leader with a deep understanding of how to translate a brand’s creative identity into desirable product that drives both consumer relevance and commercial impact,” said Savman. “We see significant opportunity to leverage the strength of Calvin Klein’s iconic brand DNA across categories and markets. Ayub’s end-to-end product expertise, deep understanding of the marketplace and global perspective will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our offering and unlock the full potential of the brand.”

Prior to Lacoste, Mohamed was chief merchandising officer of Kenzo, where he led global product strategy and assortment development across categories. Previously, he held such roles as president of Tory Sport, executive vice president of merchandising (ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and company stores) at DKNY and managing director of Givenchy. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Levi Strauss & Co., leading global men’s design, merchandising and development, first regionally and then globally.

“Calvin Klein is one of the world’s most iconic fashion brands, with distinctive design codes and a compelling product offering,” said Mohamed. “I look forward to working with David and the team to build that foundation, bringing a global product perspective that builds on the strength of the brand with assortments that inspire today’s global consumers.”

Calvin Klein generated global retail sales of approximately $9 billion last year.
