Newman Event Services Limited, which previously operated from Bloxham Mill in Bloxham, near Banbury, has begun a creditors’ voluntary liquidation after members voted to wind up the business.
Documents filed with Companies House show it owes 21 creditors an estimated £561,600.86, as of early September 2026.
Assets are expected to realise almost £51,000, leaving an estimated deficiency of more than £576,000.
The largest creditor listed was HM Revenue & Customs, which it owes almost £395,000. Other debts included more than £93,000 owed to business lender Funding Circle and almost £12,000 owed to Santander.
A special resolution signed by the sole director on September 7 stated that the company should be wound up voluntarily with insolvency practitioner Deviesh Raikundalia of Hall Chadwick, later appointed liquidator in a creditors’ voluntary winding up.
The company, with around 10 employees, recently changed its registered office address from Bloxham Mill, Barford Road, Bloxham, to an address in Northampton.
Although its website is no longer active, Newman Event Services previously described itself as a family-run business providing crowd management, event safety and security services for concerts, festivals, sporting events and major public gatherings across the UK.
In a social media post, the firm said it specialised in event planning, stewarding, traffic management and security operations, serving clients ranging from community festivals to large-scale national events.
