Oxfordshire’s Missing Bean opens new Maidenhead venue

Missing Bean, an Oxfordshire-based independent coffee company, will welcome customers to its newest venue on Thursday, October 8.

Located at the Tempo Building on 20 Grenfell Road, the venue marks the company’s first branch outside Oxfordshire and its first to include a wine bar.

Ori Halup, co-founder and managing director of Missing Bean, said: “Maidenhead has been in the pipeline for several years now, and we can’t wait to finally open the doors to this exciting new chapter.

“The delays to the building have actually worked in our favour, as we’ve been able to use the time to perfect the offering and craft something that truly reflects who we are and what we’re about.

“Maidenhead is going to be great, and we’re so looking forward to welcoming everyone. Cheers.”

The venue will serve ethically sourced speciality coffee, pastries, cakes, and lunch options during the day before transforming into a relaxed wine bar in the evening.

An evening menu will feature cicchetti and pintxos, as well as sharing boards with charcuterie, cheeses, and breads.

Designed to be welcoming from morning to night, the venue includes indoor and outdoor seating for a variety of occasions.

Missing Bean has existing connections with Maidenhead through local businesses Presto and Junior’s, which have served its coffee for several years.

In the run-up to the opening, the team will also be present at the Maidenhead Coffee Festival.

A soft-launch event for press and local businesses will be held on Tuesday, October 6, from 10am to 6pm.
