Oxfordshire-based Transense Technologies has secured a development and supply contract with Continental, one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers, for a next-generation digital tyre management tool.
The deal will see Transense’s Translogik division create a customised version of its TLGX device for Continental.

The handheld device will include enhanced features tailored to Continental’s operational needs and Continental plans to roll it out across its global service network.
The contract extends the existing partnership between the two companies and comes as the commercial vehicle industry faces growing regulatory and operational pressures.
These include broader adoption of Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), digital tyre inspections, and upcoming EU Digital Product Passport rules.

Subject to completion, the six-month funded programme is expected to generate more than £700,000 annually for Transense upon completion.
