The week is an annual event recognising the work of housekeeping staff globally.
Residents and staff have been showing appreciation for the housekeeping team at Oxford Beaumont Care Community throughout the week.
Housekeeping were presented with flowers, chocolates, and cupcakes as a token of thanks.
The care home acknowledges the important role that housekeeping staff play beyond cleanliness and organisation.
Their presence in residents’ rooms and communal lounges often brightens up the day for the residents, whether it be switching on a favourite TV programme, organising sentimental photos, or simply asking ‘how are you?’
