The Crown Inn Woodstock Ltd was put into voluntary liquidation in July last year.
It is believed the Grade II listed 18th century boutique hotel, bed and breakfast and restaurant in Woodstock with the same name remains open and trading.
Daniel Taylor, at the Manchester-based insolvency firm Fortis Insolvency, was instructed to wind down the company last summer.
Statement of affairs for the business submitted at the time revealed £200,571 worth of debt to three creditors.
In newly published documents on Companies House, Mr Taylor claimed the director Julian Rosser did not provide the books and records and did not provide completed questionnaires as part of the liquidation process.
As such, a “confidential report on the conduct of the director” has now been sent to the Insolvency Service, the documents say.
Such conduct reports are filed by insolvency practitioners and can lead to disqualification investigations, though outcomes are not guaranteed and the report itself is confidential.
Elsewhere, liquidators say that unsecured creditors were initially estimated to be £50,571.28.
However, they have received unsecured creditor claims totalling £87,462.01 from five creditors.
No claims are outstanding and no claims have been admitted for dividend purposes as yet too, they add.
HMRC’s total secondary preferential claims (mainly tax and NICs) stand at £236,124.91, but none have yet been agreed for dividend purposes.
Mr Rosser disputed the liquidators claims, saying: “We did provide all accounts and statements required.”
