Ewelme Hills, based in the Chiltern Hills in Oxfordshire, unveiled its new wine at an event in London’s Holland Park.
The rosé is a limited edition release, priced at £50 per bottle and available through the Ewelme Hills website or by direct order for businesses.
Lubov Chernukhin, chairwoman of Ewelme Hills, said: “Launching Ewelme Hills Rosé is a very proud moment for us and an important step in our ambition to build a premium English wine brand.
“This limited edition rosé is made exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir, with every element, from the fruit and winemaking to the finished bottle, considered to create something distinctive and luxurious.”
The estate includes a ten-acre, south-facing vineyard with more than 20,000 Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc vines.
The estate also includes orchards, beehives, and gardens, and follows sustainable practices such as using natural alternatives to synthetic pesticides and encouraging biodiversity through reduced mowing.
Ewelme Hills also produces honey, candles, soaps, pear cyder, and seasonal produce.
Jason Horner, director at Ewelme Hills, said: “This rosé has been a genuinely collaborative project, bringing together winemaking, estate, design and brand teams.
“It represents the standard we want to set for Ewelme Hills as we build a premium English brand rooted in craftsmanship, responsible production and a strong sense of place.”
