\n A source told Sky News the closure of the car park would result in a “small” number of job losses.\n<\/p>\n
\n The remaining 318 car parks will stay open with no other sites identified for closure.\n<\/p>\n
\n Administrators concluded on Monday morning, March 23, that 22 of NCP’s car parks would close for good.\n<\/p>\n
\n Bosses said the business had “insufficient cash available to meet its financial obligations and the directors have therefore taken the decision to appoint administrators”.\n<\/p>\n
\n It’s car parking charges vary depending on the location, with some central London sites costing up to \u00a365 for 24 hours.\n<\/p>\n
\n In Manchester, some car parks can cost up to 333 for a 24-hour stay.\n<\/p>\n

\n An NCP spokesperson said: “National Car Parks Limited (NCP) – in administration \u2013 22 sites to close on March 27, while all other sites remain open.\n<\/p>\n
\n “On Monday, March 16, 2026, Zelf Hussain, Rachael Wilkinson and Toby Banfield of PwC were appointed as Joint Administrators of National Car Parks Limited.\n<\/p>\n

\n “Following an initial assessment of operations, the joint administrators have identified 22 sites that are commercially unviable and will therefore be closed to customers from 11:59pm on March 27.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Regrettably, due to the closure of these sites, 33 employees will be made redundant on March 31.\n<\/p>\n
\n “They will be supported through the statutory redundancy payments process.\n<\/p>\n
