\n Greencore Homes, an award-winning developer, has teamed-up with Octopus Energy, the UK’s largest energy supplier, to deliver eight ‘Zero Bills’ homes at its new development in Launton, near Bicester.\n<\/p>\n
\n These homes are equipped with solar panels, heat pumps and smart energy systems, providing 10 MWh of free electricity annually.\n<\/p>\n
\n Residents will pay no home energy costs, excluding electric vehicle charging, for a minimum of 10 years, saving more than \u00a32,350 a year on their energy bills.\n<\/p>\n

\n The development is located on a 5.8-acre site on the edge of the historic Launton village. The first homes at Station Road are expected to be completed by autumn 2026.\n<\/p>\n
\n They feature 65 two, three and four-bedroom homes, built using natural materials to deliver ultra-low embodied carbon and achieve a net energy balance across the scheme.\n<\/p>\n

\n Laura Stone, chief operating officer at Greencore Homes, said: “We\u2019re not simply delivering new homes, we\u2019re redefining what sustainable and Better Than Net Zero living should mean in the UK.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The world-first smart tariff was launched by Octopus Energy in 2022 to allow customers to move into homes with cutting-edge green tech and no energy bills for up to 10 years.\n<\/p>\n
