\n This forms part of a \u00a342 million investment in colleague pay in 2026 alone.\n<\/p>\n
\n Aldi remains the only major retailer to offer paid breaks to all colleagues – a benefit worth approximately \u00a31,500 per year to the average store colleague.\n<\/p>\n

\n Marks and Spencer (M&S) is the nation\u2019s favourite supermarket despite customers saying its \u201chigher prices\u201d make it a destination for treats rather than a weekly shop, according to the Which? customer satisfaction survey.\n<\/p>\n
\n Aldi was the only supermarket to receive the \u201cRecommended Provider\u201d label for in-store shopping, achieving the highest rating for value for money \u2013 four out of five stars \u2013 along with Lidl.\n<\/p>\n
\n Shoppers suggested they were willing to overlook slightly weaker scores for Aldi\u2019s store appearance, customer service and grocery quality in exchange for consistently low prices.\n<\/p>\n
