Alongside the fund, Inspired is launching a revenue-focused platform designed to help portfolio companies scale their businesses.

While Inspired invests across sectors including health care, fintech, robotics and artificial intelligence, its portfolio includes a growing set of companies in fashion, retail and influence marketing.

ShopMy was Inspired’s big bet on fashion and the growing commercial clout of creator-led commerce.

The platform connects fashion and beauty brands with creators who monetize product recommendations through affiliate links, curated storefronts and brand partnerships, giving companies a way to turn influence into sales. It also provides the infrastructure needed for brands and content creators to collaborate.

Inspired led ShopMy’s series A funding round in November 2022, when the company raised $8 million. It also participated in the firm’s $18.5 million round in March 2024 and its $77.5 million series B round in January 2025.

In October 2025, ShopMy raised another $70 million led by Avenir.

That round valued the firm at $1.5 billion, at a time when it was reporting more than $1 billion in annual sales through creator referrals and 200 percent revenue growth year-over-year.

For fashion brands, the platform can connect discovery to purchase and loop in creators.

Consumers increasingly discover brands through people they trust, a dynamic ShopMy expects to strengthen as artificial intelligence generates more digital noise.

“Creators are increasingly becoming the front door and storefront for commerce, not just an advertising channel,” von Tobel told WWD. “Creators’ reach is being extended in powerful ways enabling every creator out there to capture more mind share, not less. Shoppers increasingly find brands through people they trust, not through department stores or search, and we believe in a world increasingly filled with AI noise that this dynamic will only become stronger.”

The growth in recommendation-led commerce could also give creators greater influence over product development.

“Creators can see what audiences actually buy, so the line between them as a ‘channel’ and ‘brand’ is blurring. We expect creators to increasingly shape what gets made, whether that be creator-led brands or partnerships,” she said.

Von Tobel pointed to businesses such as Hill House Home, founded by Nell Diamond, and beauty brand Saie, founded by Laney Crowell, as examples where a company’s growth is closely tied to founders whose personal influence boosts business growth.

Inspired also invested in Remark, which develops AI-powered shopping technology for premium brands, and Arcade, a platform that helps users turn product ideas into manufacturable designs. As product creation becomes faster and potentially cheaper, von Tobel expects differentiation to depend increasingly on storytelling, craftsmanship and originality.

That could also create opportunities in the vintage market, while technology-enabled authentication could help resale businesses build consumer trust at scale.

Creator-led commerce is another potential growth area. Von Tobel believes spending on creator content and user-generated content could eventually rival established marketing channels such as search and paid social, although brands still lack some of the tools needed to manage it effectively.

Inspired’s portfolio includes 10 companies valued at $1 billion or more, while 10 have surpassed $100 million in annual revenue. Inspired’s exits have included Teamshares’ Nasdaq listing and Databricks’ acquisition of generative AI start-up MosaicML.

#Inspired #Capital #Closes #450M #Fund #Boost #CreatorLed #Commerce

PARIS — Inspired Capital, the venture firm behind creator-commerce platform ShopMy, has closed on a $450 million fourth fund as it looks to back early-stage companies reshaping how consumers discover,…

[242

post-1699","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-editors-pick
["GET
