\n However, LK Bennett’s nine stand-alone and 13 concession stores were not included in the deal, forcing them to close in April, along with the company’s website.\n<\/p>\n
\n Several famous faces have worn the popular fashion brand over the years, including Her Royal Highness Catherine, Princess of Wales, and former Prime Minister Theresa May.\n<\/p>\n

\n Six months later, it appears LK Bennett is making a return to the UK market, according to a message posted on its website.\n<\/p>\n
\n It said: “Since 1990, L.K.Bennett has believed in crafting beautiful pieces for women to love, wear and enjoy every single day.\n<\/p>\n
\n “While times change, our ethos has stayed the same.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Our founding principle of attainable luxury continues today as L.K.Bennett steps into an exciting new chapter.\n<\/p>\n

UK companies that have closed or entered administration\/liquidation in 2026<\/p>\n
\n It has been a tough year for the UK high street, with several retailers entering administration or liquidation and others announcing widespread store closures.\n<\/p>\n
\n Major high street brands Claire’s and Quiz have been forced to close all their remaining stores after falling into administration.\n<\/p>\n
\n UK fashion retailer Leading Labels is also set to close its remaining 15 stores after falling into liquidation in May.\n<\/p>\n
\n Whitbread closed all its standalone branded restaurants across the UK last month, including:\n<\/p>\n
\n TG Jones and the British Heart Foundation will also be closing around 150 stores each across the UK.\n<\/p>\n

\n Popular UK-based online platform Laced, used for buying and selling rare trainers, is also set to close down after 11 years, having fallen into administration.\n<\/p>\n

\n Wayfairer Travel Limited has also suspended all services “until further notice” as it looks to appoint an administrator.\n<\/p>\n
\n Meanwhile, four UK airlines have fallen into administration or liquidation:\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\n UK delivery company Yodel is set to be phased out after being acquired by InPost.\n<\/p>\n
\n Meanwhile, iconic fashion brand Nasty Gal has shut down its website after being sold by Debenhams in a deal worth around \u00a312 million (US$16 million).\n<\/p>\n
\n It hasn’t all been bad news for the UK high street, with several major brands announcing new store openings for 2026, including Joules, Aldi, M&S, and Superdrug.\n<\/p>\n
\n Meanwhile, brands including Evans and Bodycare have returned to the UK high street this year after previously closing all their stores.\n<\/p>\n
