\n Gloucestershire businessman Lee Myall will take up the role from October 1, following Suzannah Harvey\u2019s decision to step back from the day-to-day management of the airport.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Harvey will remain as chair of the board to support the airport\u2019s strategic direction.\n<\/p>\n
\n She said: “After a great deal of consideration, I have made the decision to step back from the day-to-day running of the airport to focus on my other passions and business interests.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved at Cotswold Airport over the last 20 years.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Myall brings extensive experience in planning, commercial development, and business growth and has already been working with the airport on estates and planning matters.\n<\/p>\n
\n He said: “Cotswold Airport is a remarkable business and a very special place.\n<\/p>\n
\n “My immediate priority will be to work with the existing management team to build on the very strong position the business is already in, supporting our tenants and customers while developing opportunities across both the aviation and estates businesses.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The airport is a growing centre for aviation and aerospace, recording more than 36,000 aircraft movements annually.\n<\/p>\n
\n It supports a wide range of businesses and is committed to reaching carbon net-zero by 2030.\n<\/p>\n
\n Recent changes to the senior leadership team include the appointment of Graham Carter as group managing director.\n<\/p>\n
