\n Henley-on-Thames-based The Forces Group, which operates the Pestforce, Lockforce, and Washforce franchise networks, was named Best Business Enabler at the National Entrepreneur Awards, hosted by Entrepreneurs Circle at the ICC Birmingham.\n<\/p>\n
\n The award honours organisations that empower other businesses to grow and thrive.\n<\/p>\n
\n Sean Taylor, founder of The Forces Group, said: “We don\u2019t just help people start a business.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We enable them to build a sustainable business that funds the life they want to live, supported by a proven framework and real success stories.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The group supports more than 120 franchisees across the UK, providing services in pest control, locksmithing, and commercial cleaning.\n<\/p>\n
\n Its approach starts before a franchise is sold, with a nine-step selection process to ensure candidates are a good fit for business ownership.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ongoing support covers technical training, business development, financial planning, marketing, and peer learning.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Taylor said: “For me, one of the strongest parts of our awards entry wasn\u2019t simply the business growth.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It was what that growth has meant to the individuals and their families.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The holidays, the freedom, the increase in self-esteem and confidence, new homes, more time with family and personal development are the things that really bring it to life.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Franchisees are encouraged to reach what the company calls their ‘Stress Free Point’ – the level of sales needed to cover both business and personal costs.\n<\/p>\n
\n The group has seen franchisee retention remain above 95 per cent for the past three years and has grown its network to more than 120 businesses nationwide.\n<\/p>\n
\n Over a three-year period, customer sales across the network rose by more than \u00a32.6 million annually, generating nearly 17,000 additional customer jobs.\n<\/p>\n
\n The businesses have also received close to 60,000 customer reviews, averaging 4.96 out of five.\n<\/p>\n
\n The Forces Group previously won Best Customer Service at the National Entrepreneur Awards in 2024.\n<\/p>\n
\n It remains a family business, with seven members of the Taylor family involved.\n<\/p>\n
\n Two Henley-based staff members have also invested in franchise territories now run by their partners, which Mr Taylor sees as a strong vote of confidence in the business model.\n<\/p>\n
\n The company plans to move into larger offices in the new year to support further growth.\n<\/p>\n
\n Nigel Botterill, founder of Entrepreneurs Circle, said: “The Forces Group understands that helping somebody start a business is only the beginning.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Sean and his team have built a model around helping people become increasingly capable and confident business owners, and they’re prepared to say no to a franchise sale when they don’t believe it’s right for the person.\n<\/p>\n
