\n Doors have reopened at the historic Red Lion in Adderbury near Banbury following the six-figure makeover.\n<\/p>\n
\n Greene King, which owns the pub, says the changes have carefully blended the historic charm of the coaching inn with some modern-day comforts.\n<\/p>\n
\n The watering hole has an enviable location in the heart of the village on the green, and the latest works, inside and out, have boosted its appeal further.\n<\/p>\n

\n Great care has been taken to retain all the character of the 17th-century inn, adding complementary d\u00e9cor, flooring, furnishings and lighting.\n<\/p>\n
\n The toilets have also benefitted from a refurbishment, while the outside has been refreshed to add to its appeal with thoughtful planting, d\u00e9cor, lighting and signage.\n<\/p>\n
\n Speaking after the official reopening, Daniel Anderson, general manager of The Red Lion, said: “It is something of an honour to be part of the next chapter of this amazing coaching inn which has such a long history and is so well regarded.\n<\/p>\n
\n “There have been some carefully planned works to make this wonderful inn even better and cosier.\n<\/p>\n
