\n\tThe Modern \u201990s Fall Edit by Jason Bolden arrived at Quince on Wednesday, with prices ranging from $30 to $300 and the edit spanning eight looks.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cToday I wanted to do something very \u2018classic Jason,\u2019 complete \u201990s nostalgia, with a little bit of edge and Quince\u2019s twist. What I love about Quince is its timeless point of view,\u201d said Bolden, whose clients include Michael B. Jordan, Cynthia Erivo, Nicole Kidman and Josh O\u2019Connor.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve always loved the idea of easy luxury. My grandmother used to say, \u2018Real luxury is leisure, Jason,\u2019 and I think it\u2019s so true,\u201d he said. \u201cThe best luxury is the kind you can actually live in. I want my fabrics to move with me. The clothes should work for you. That\u2019s luxury.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tThe eight looks play on contrast, according to Bolden, including a monochromatic red look, a cashmere turtleneck paired with silk lace and a button-down worn with mulberry silk pants.<\/p>\n
\n\tBolden\u2019s collection follows Quince\u2019s tie-ins with stylists Erin Walsh and Jamie Mizrahi, who both created capsule collections.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn July, WWD reported that San Francisco-based Quince surpassed $2 billion in sales over the last 12 months, WWD has learned.<\/p>\n
\n\tThis comes after the factory-direct luxury essentials player closed on a $500 million series E funding round in March, valuing the company at $10.1 billion. The round was led by Iconiq and also saw participation from Baillie Gifford, Basis Set Ventures, DST Global, MarcyPen Capital Partners, Notable Capital, Wellington Management and WndrCo.<\/p>\n
\n\tLaunched in 2019 with $50 cashmere sweaters, the company has now expanded to more than 100 categories spanning apparel, home, jewelry, travel, furniture and gourmet food.<\/p>\n
