\n Oxfordshire-based Transense Technologies has secured a development and supply contract with Continental, one of the world\u2019s leading tyre manufacturers, for a next-generation digital tyre management tool.\n<\/p>\n
\n The deal will see Transense\u2019s Translogik division create a customised version of its TLGX device for Continental.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ryan Maughan, managing director at Transense Technologies, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our relationship with Continental through this development programme.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Our TLGX platform has established a strong reputation for supporting digital tyre management, and this project reflects the increasing demand for integrated solutions as tyre management becomes more connected and data-driven.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We believe this programme represents an important commercial opportunity for Translogik and provides a strong platform for future growth.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The handheld device will include enhanced features tailored to Continental\u2019s operational needs and Continental plans to roll it out across its global service network.\n<\/p>\n
\n The contract extends the existing partnership between the two companies and comes as the commercial vehicle industry faces growing regulatory and operational pressures.\n<\/p>\n
\n These include broader adoption of Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), digital tyre inspections, and upcoming EU Digital Product Passport rules.\n<\/p>\n
\n Pascal Neumann, product manager, digital solutions at Continental, said: “Digitalisation is transforming tyre management and creating opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality and service delivery.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We look forward to working with the Translogik team to develop a solution tailored to the evolving requirements of our global service network.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Subject to completion, the six-month funded programme is expected to generate more than \u00a3700,000 annually for Transense upon completion.\n<\/p>\n
