\n The new outlets, to be located at Bourton Industrial Park off Fosse Way, will be a \u00a37m investment in the local economy and are expected to create 60 jobs – 40 at Aldi and 20 at Costa Coffee.\n<\/p>\n
\n The plans also include a 127-space car park, with accessible and parent and child bays, 10 electric vehicle charging points, and a new signalised junction.\n<\/p>\n
\n Landscaping will be incorporated throughout the site.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\n Aldi said it wants to “improve consumer choice and competition” in the area and promote sustainable travel patterns, with “residents no longer needing to travel further afield for affordable healthy food and fresh produce”.\n<\/p>\n
\n Aldi’s real estate director, Rob Jones, said: “We’re delighted that planning permission has been granted for our new Aldi store and Costa Coffee drive-thru in Bourton-on-the-Water.\n<\/p>\n
\n “This approval marks an important milestone for the project and will enable us to bring increased choice, convenience, and investment to the local area.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The development will create up to 60 new jobs and provide residents with greater access to affordable, high-quality food closer to home.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to engage with the proposals and support the plans throughout the planning process.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Development manager Hinton Group is yet to announce when construction will begin.\n<\/p>\n
